Then he told the people to sit down on the grass. Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he gave the bread to the disciples, who distributed it to the people.

Before Jesus multiplied food and fed the 5 thousand, He thanked God for the 5 loaves and 2 fishes. I struggled with this as I reflected: can I say thank you over the little I have? Can I be grateful whenever I look at what seems scarce? Jesus gave thanks over what was not enough.
I'm still a work in progress, but I pray that whenever we look at our 5 loaves and 2 fishes, we will be reminded that it’s enough in His eyes, to do the impossible. May we be thankful for the seemingly little in our hands, dedicating it to the Father.
